Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to orders, purchases and bookings made through the DS V-LINE online shop by consumers and businesses.
The contracting party is:
DS V-LINE / DS V-LINE VERTRIEB
Bahnhofstraße 45
34613 Schwalmstadt
Germany
Email: info@dsvline.com
Phone: +49 173 709 19 84
Any terms and conditions submitted by a customer that differ from these Terms and Conditions shall apply only if we have expressly agreed to them.
A consumer is a natural person who enters into a legal transaction primarily for purposes that are neither commercial nor attributable to their independent professional activity.
A business customer is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity acting in the course of its commercial or independent professional activity.
2. Products and Services
DS V-LINE offers, among other things, skincare and cosmetic products, professional products, accessories, training programmes, educational services, protocol packages and digital content.
The essential characteristics and scope of the relevant product or service are set out in the respective product or service description.
Certain professional products or services may be offered exclusively to verified beauty professionals or business customers. Where this is the case, the relevant product description or access area will indicate the restriction.
3. Conclusion of the Contract
The presentation of products and services in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer. It constitutes an invitation to submit an order.
The customer can place products in the shopping cart and proceed through the electronic checkout process.
By clicking the final button used to place the order, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the products or services contained in the order.
Unless the order confirmation expressly states that the order has been accepted, an automatically generated confirmation email initially confirms only that the order has been received.
The contract is concluded when DS V-LINE expressly accepts the order, dispatches the goods, provides access to the purchased digital content or begins providing the agreed service, whichever occurs first.
4. Contract Language
For orders placed through the English-language shop, English may be used as the contract language.
For orders placed through the German-language shop, the contract language is German.
Where mandatory consumer law requires information to be provided in another language, the applicable statutory requirements remain unaffected.
5. Prices
The prices displayed for the relevant country or market at the time the order is placed apply.
Prices are displayed in the currency made available for the relevant Shopify market.
Where applicable, prices for consumers include the legally applicable VAT or other taxes included by the shop for the relevant market.
Any additional shipping costs are shown before the order is completed.
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or other charges may apply unless such charges are expressly included in the price or checkout.
6. Payment
The payment methods available for a particular order are displayed during checkout.
Depending on the relevant country or market, payment methods may include card payments, PayPal, Shopify Payments or other payment methods supported by the shop.
Payment is due in accordance with the conditions applicable to the payment method selected by the customer.
Additional conditions shown in the relevant training or service offer may apply to training programmes or other services.
7. Delivery of Physical Goods
Goods are delivered to the delivery address provided by the customer.
Available delivery areas, shipping costs and expected delivery times are displayed in the shop or during checkout.
Orders are generally prepared for dispatch within 1 to 3 business days, unless a different processing period is stated in the product description or checkout.
Orders are generally not processed on weekends or public holidays.
Delivery times are estimates unless a binding delivery date has expressly been agreed.
Delays may occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control. Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.
8. Shipping Outside the European Union
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, handling charges or similar public charges may be imposed by the destination country.
Where such charges are not expressly included in the checkout price, they may be payable separately by the recipient.
9. Transfer of Risk
Where the customer is a consumer, the statutory rules governing transfer of risk apply.
In particular, statutory consumer protections regarding loss of or damage to goods during transportation are not excluded by these Terms and Conditions.
For business customers, the statutory provisions applicable to commercial transactions apply unless otherwise agreed.
10. Training Programmes and Seminars
The dates, content, format and scope of booked training programmes, seminars and educational services are determined by the relevant product or service description.
DS V-LINE may make reasonable changes to training dates for organisational reasons where necessary.
If a scheduled training date must be changed by DS V-LINE, affected participants will be informed within a reasonable period and an appropriate alternative will be offered where possible.
A cancellation or rebooking requested by the customer outside any applicable statutory cancellation right requires prior agreement with DS V-LINE unless different cancellation or rebooking conditions are expressly stated in the relevant offer.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal in relation to distance contracts.
Details are set out in our separate Right of Withdrawal / Cancellation Policy.
Any voluntary return policy offered by DS V-LINE exists in addition to statutory rights and does not restrict them.
12. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded or may expire in certain cases provided by law.
This may apply, for example, to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if the seal has been removed after delivery.
The fact that an item is a cosmetic product does not by itself exclude the statutory right of withdrawal.
13. Digital Content
Where digital content is supplied without a physical data carrier, a consumer's statutory right of withdrawal may expire before the end of the usual withdrawal period if all statutory requirements are met.
Where required by law, this requires the consumer to expressly agree that performance may begin before the withdrawal period has expired and to acknowledge that the right of withdrawal will be lost once performance begins.
The required contractual confirmation will be provided in accordance with applicable law.
14. Services Started During the Withdrawal Period
Where a consumer expressly requests that a paid service begin before the statutory withdrawal period has expired, the statutory rules concerning withdrawal and, where applicable, reasonable compensation for services already provided apply.
15. Retention of Title
Goods remain the property of DS V-LINE until payment has been made in full.
16. Warranty Rights
Statutory warranty rights apply.
Any voluntary guarantees offered by DS V-LINE do not restrict the customer's statutory rights unless expressly permitted by law.
17. Damaged, Incorrect or Incomplete Deliveries
If an order arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:
info@dsvline.com
Where possible, please include your order number and photographs of the goods and packaging.
This request is intended to help us resolve the matter efficiently and does not limit statutory rights.
18. Liability
DS V-LINE is liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence and for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health in accordance with applicable law.
In cases of simple negligence, DS V-LINE is liable for the breach of material contractual obligations where the fulfilment of those obligations is essential to the proper performance of the contract and the customer may regularly rely on their fulfilment.
In such cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract, to the extent permitted by law.
Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
19. Copyright and Training Materials
Training materials, videos, documents, graphics, protocols, texts and other protected content supplied by DS V-LINE may be used only within the scope of the rights granted with the relevant product or service.
Unless expressly permitted, such content may not be reproduced, sold, distributed, published, made publicly accessible or shared with unauthorised third parties.
20. Data Protection
Information about the processing of personal data is available in our Privacy Policy.
21. Consumer Dispute Resolution
DS V-LINE is not obliged and, unless expressly stated otherwise, is not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.
Where mandatory statutory information obligations apply in an individual case, those obligations remain unaffected.
22. Governing Law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive the consumer of mandatory protection afforded by the law of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence.
23. Jurisdiction for Business Customers
Where the customer is a merchant, legal entity under public law, special fund under public law or otherwise lawfully subject to a jurisdiction agreement, the place of business of DS V-LINE shall be the place of jurisdiction to the extent legally permitted.
Mandatory rules concerning jurisdiction remain unaffected.
24. Final Provisions
If an individual provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
Mandatory statutory provisions take precedence over conflicting provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
